NY Blue Note Quintet

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.
Joe Magnarelli (Trumpet / US)Dmitry Baevsky (Alto Sax / RU)Jeb Patton (Piano / US)Fabien Marcoz (Bass / FR)Bernd Reiter (Drums / AT)

Here is an international group: American trumpet player Joe Magnarelli and pianist Jeb Patton, Russian alto saxophonist Dmitry Baevsky, French bassist Fabien Marcoz and the Austrian drummer Bernd Reiter. The five musicians have played with basically all the biggest American jazz icons, and as the band name indicates, we are dealing with the part of jazz that proudly carry the bebop/neobop/mainstream-torch on. Thus, dynamic interplay, hefty and muscular solos and intense backing is guaranteed. In other words: Jazz, that are made to exist within the walls of Jazzhus Montmartre.

Our restaurant is open before the concert.
