Leszek Możdżer / Lars Danielsson Duo

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.

Since our reopening in May 2010 we have dreamt of having these two European world class jazz stars on the Montmartre stage and now it is happening for two nights.

Polish star pianist Leszek Mozdzer is considered a hero in his homeland and is called the Chopin of our time, and Swedish super bass player Lars Danielsson is wanted all over the world for his beautiful, lyrical and rhythmic playing.

Their albums Passodoble from 2007 and Tarantella from 2009 have received some of the best reviews and are among the most loved recent jazz albums that are sure to live on for generations. This is emotional, lyrical and rhythmic jazz, balancing between calm and intensity.

Due to geography, busy schedules and individual comet careers, it is extremely rare for two such unique musicians to perform together. Nonetheless, Montmartre has managed to book these two amazing artists for two unforgettable nights and we are very proud to present two intimate worldclass concerts.
