Michael Christiansen
Chairman of the board, Jazzhus Montmartre Fonden.
A keen jazz lover and former regular at the old Jazzhus Montmartre in Store Regnegade 1959-1976. Michael was also the chairman of Denmark's national public service broadcaster, Danmarks Radio (DR) from 2008 to 2018, and former CEO of The Royal Danish Theatre (Det Kgl. Teater).
Michael Christiansen has previously worked as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence and Head of Department at the Ministry of Justice.
He is chairman and member of a considerable number of boards, committees and institutions, amongst them Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, Kraft & Partners, Nørre Vosborg and Musikteateret Holstebro.
Rune Bech

Rune was the driving force behind the re-opening of Jazzhus Montmartre as a not-for-profit initiative in May 2010 and an unpaid head of the club until January 2020, when Jonas Dyrved took over.
Rune began his career as a foreign correspondent at POLITIKEN for eight years (Eastern Europe (1989-1993) and London (1993-1997) before joining TV 2 Nyhederne as a foreign news reporter. In 1998 he co-founded NetDoctor, a leading independent health information portal in Britain, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. From 2001 to 2007 Rune was the Chief Digital Officer of TV 2 Denmark. He was a member of the broadcaster's executive management team and programming board.
Since 2007 Rune has been a serial entrepreneur, investor and board member in a number of companies, among them Nianet A/S, Waoo! A/S, Boozt.com AB and Euroinvestor A/S. He's currently chairman of the board of Liva Healthcare, a health-tech company specialised in digital health coaching, and on the board of the Danish perming arts magazine ISCENE.dk.
Ole Borch

Ole Borch is one of Denmark's most high-profile and renowned lawyers. For more than 30 years he has been a partner in the largest Danish lawfirm Bech Bruun. In his otium he is running his own independent law firm. His focus is advising on corporate management issues, in particular as regards businesses in the need of changes.
Vibeke Nyfos

Vibeke Nyfos is passionaly engaged in Montmartre's future and survival, and is a keen jazz lover and frequent guest at the club. She has a master in antropology from Aarhus University, and has also taken coaching education from Niels Brock Business School. In her daily professional life she is a PR and Communications manager for a Copenhagen based company. Vibeke has a long track record of passionate interest and engagement in the arts.
Rasmus Elverdam

Rasmus is an executive with Magasin du Nord in Copenhagen, and has been their General Counsel and attorney-at-law since 2007. Prior to that he was a lawyer with Arup & Hvidt Law since 2001.
