Jacob Young er en norsk internationalt anerkendt jazzguitarist og komponist, der har udgivet ti albums med sin egen musik, hvoraf fire er på det tyske verdensledende selskab ECM, som bandleder; "Evening Falls", (2004), "Sideways" (2008), "Forever Young" (2014) og nu "Eventually" (2023)

Jacob Young (b.1970) is a Norwegian internationally renowned jazz guitarist and composer who has released ten albums of his own music, four of which are on the German world-leading company ECM which band leader; "Evening Falls", (2004), "Sideways" (2008), "Forever Young" (2014) and now "Eventually" (2023) - since 2017 he has also run the label Oslo Session Recordings, with productions outside of and for other projects, such as "The Maze" with Mike Mainieri - vibraphone, Bendik Hofseth - sax, Paolo Vinaccia - drums and Mats Eilertsen - bass, as well as the duo collaboration with vocalist Siril Malmedal Hauge. The latter resulted in international awards for both debuts “Last Things” and for the sequel “Chasing Sunsets”. He also has produced the releases with the Øyvind Brække Sextet “Wilderness” and “They Say Humans Exist” with David Rothenberg - clarinet, Sidiki Camara - percussion. Mats Eilertsen (b.1975) is an internationally recognized bassist who has played in several leading Norwegian jazz bands since the end of 1990 the number.
