Would you like to be a volunteer at Jazzhus Montmartre?
An important aspect of Montmartre is our volunteers. They play a vital role in creating the unique atmosphere we have here and their dedication ensures that our guests and musicians have a wonderful experience at Montmartre.
ROOM FOR YOU
We are fortunate that a number of our volunteers have been with us for many years, but there is room for you too. You don’t necessarily have to be a jazz lover to be a part of Montmartre, but it doesn’t hurt. What is most important is that you enjoy being in the company of other people and that you take pleasure in providing a service that makes a difference to our guests’ experience.

DEDICATED TEAM
As a volunteer you will join a dedicated team. We expect you to take about two shifts per month. If you have the time and energy for more, that is certainly possible.
The duties include: bartending, ticket sales, serving and cleaning up. As a volunteer, you can have different duties during a shift, depending on what is needed.
// On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays a shift starts at 17:30 and ends around 23:00-23:30.
// On all other days shifts start at 18:30 and end around 23:00-23.30.
// On Sundays, we sometimes have concerts for children and families and shifts can be from 12:00-16:00.

CODE OF CONDUCT
It is important to us that our volunteers are responsible, welcoming and flexible and willing to accept that people are different. Our volunteers range from students to busy professionals to active retirees.
We have an alcohol policy, which means that no alcohol can be consumed during a shift. We also have a code of conduct, because we care about the well-being of our volunteers at Montmartre.

WORLD CLASS JAZZ
You will meet some of the world’s best musicians and listen to world-class jazz—Live!
We host an annual summer party as well as a New Year’s party, where the volunteers at Montmartre have a great time socializing together.
As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to enjoy a concert for free when it is not sold out.
