Featherdrop blev dannet i 2023 af de danske komponister Thomas Munk-Petersen og Stig Halskov i samarbejde med de to internationalt anerkendte og prisvindende solister, Eyal Lovett på keys og Thomas Fryland på horn.
Deres anmelderroste album "Nocturnes" udkom for nylig og er mixet af Grammy-vindende Rich Breen.

Featherdrop creates works inspired by the greatest works of film culture - mixed with Nordic noir and a splash of Middle Eastern folk. A completely unique sound.
The band manages to combine compositional depth with virtuoso improvisation.
They move at once within and outside the framework of contemporary jazz, and evoke moods that invite reflection.
Featherdrop was formed in 2023 by the Danish composers Thomas Munk-Petersen and Stig Halskov in collaboration with the two internationally recognized and award-winning soloists, Eyal Lovett on keys and Thomas Fryland on horn.
Their critically acclaimed album "Nocturnes" was recently released and is mixed by Grammy-winning Rich Breen.
