Både Sinne Eeg og bassisten Thomas Fonnesbæk tilhører toppen af danske jazzmusikere, der har fået et internationalt gennembrud og turnerer verden over. Deres samarbejde går mange år tilbage og duoen udgav allerede i 2015 deres føres album sammen, “Eeg-Fonnesbæk”. Det er også blevet til en Danish Music Award for bedste "Vokaljazz Udgivelse".

Sinne Eeg har over de seneste år skabt sig et stort navn fra Japan over Kina til USA. Som topnavn på festivaler, teatre og store events i hele verden, sætter hun Danmark på jazzens verdenskort. Oprindeligt fra Lemvig og uddannet på konservatoriet i Esbjerg holder Sinne Eeg dog allermest af spille intime koncerter i sit hjemland.

Thomas Fonnesbæk har for længst markeret sig som en af Europas mest velspillende bassister. Som elev af Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen er han ofte førstevalg for internationale giganter, når de gæster Danmark. Med en moderne stil, der forener Jacos Pastorius med Ray Brown, spiller han med internationale topnavne som Christian Sands, Aaron Parks, Monty Alexander, Enrico Pieranunzi og Gregory Hutchinson.

What should I know about them?

Both Sinne Eeg and bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk belong to the top of Danish jazz musicians who have had an international breakthrough and tour the world. Their collaboration goes back many years and in 2015 the duo released their first album together, “Eeg-Fonnesbæk”. It has also become a Danish Music Award for best "Vocal Jazz Release".

Sinne Eeg has made a big name for herself in recent years from Japan to China to the USA. Originally from Lemvig and educated at the conservatory in Esbjerg, Sinne Eeg most enjoys playing intimate concerts in her home country.
