Line-up

🇬🇧 ENGLISH:

Stefan Pasborg is one of the country's best drummers, which is not so strange, since he was trained by his godfather, the legend Alex Riel.

In his career, he has established himself as a serious and innovative musician, who has collaborated and recorded with big names such as John Tchicai, Miroslav Vitouš and Tomasz Stanko. His style ranges from jazz, Afro, Balkan to rock and funk.

He has led and participated in various bands such as everything from Ibrahim Electric to African music with, among others, Dawda Jobarteh from Gambia and Majid Bekkas from Morocco.

Now Pasborg comes to Montmartre with his trio consisting of two heavyweights on the jazz scene. One of Denmark's greatest pianists Carsten Dahl and on saxophone/flute wind virtuoso Fredrik Lundin.

The trio plays its own compositions and is particularly notable for a versatile sound that mixes Nordic noir with frameless, American free-jazz. Dahl and Lundin can paint pictures like few others, to which Pasborg's razor-sharp explosions take the music to new heights.

Together they are a unit beyond the ordinary. Between them a cosmos arises where the sense of time is set aside in favor of free improvisational art, which the three artists master individually - and especially together.
