What kind of jazz do they play?
Action 4S is fusion jazz created for the 21st century – full of speed, nerve and a vitality that reaches far beyond the edge of the stage. What should I know about them?
Mathias Heise is a veritable "phenomenon" on the chromatic harmonica – an instrument he masters on an international level and adds creativity and high spirits. He has received the prestigious DMA Jazz award and at only 20 years old he won an international award for his chromatic harmonica. Among the bands he has already played at a young age are big names like David Sanborn.

The group also includes the up-and-coming Danish pianist Rasmus Sørensen, Danish bass heavyweight Thomas Fonnesbæk and the eccentric Swedish/Norwegian drummer Anton Eger.

What do the reviewers say?

"Mathias Heise plays harmonica with a technical prowess and a musicality that reminds us of Toots Thielemans, but with his own fresh and modern sound." – Jazz Special
