Det anmelderroste band '3 X Hess' består af de tre brødre Mikkel, Nikolaj og Emil Hess. Udover deres broderskab og efternavn har de tre deres store passion for jazz til fælles og har genopfundet dansk trio-jazz igennem årtier.
De har alle tre haft succesfulde, individuelle karrierer både i Danmark og især USA, men har hastholdt broderskabet med denne særlige trio, der blandt andet har udgivet anmelderroste albums som "Music for Mum & Dad" og "Music in the Sky".
Individuelt har deres karriere bragt dem verden over samt indledt dem samarbejder med kunstnere som Gregory Hutchinson, Chris Cheek, og Marc Mommaas.
De har været med til at redefinere lyden af moderne dansk jazz og formår i fællesskab at male
vidtfavnende og ekspressive musikalske billeder og har opbygget en stor fanskare for deres indsats.
Desuden driver de også en podcast sammen, med jazz og musik som omdrejningspunkt.

The critically acclaimed band '3 X Hess' consists of the three brothers Mikkel, Nikolaj and Emil Hess. In addition to their brotherhood and last name, the three have their great passion for jazz in common and have reinvented Danish trio jazz for decades.
They have all had successful, individual careers both in Denmark and especially in the USA, but have maintained their brotherhood with this special trio, which has released critically acclaimed albums such as "Music for Mum & Dad" and "Music in the Sky".
Individually, their careers have taken them around the world and initiated collaborations with artists such as Gregory Hutchinson, Chris Cheek, and Marc Mommaas.
They have helped redefine the sound of modern Danish jazz and together manage to paint
broad-ranging and expressive musical pictures and have built a large fan base for their efforts.
They also run a podcast together, with jazz and music as the focal point.
