Pianisten Carsten Dahls musikalske baggrund er dybt forankret i den rå amerikanske jazz, men kunstnerens kendskab til de største klassiske komponister er heller ikke til at tage fejl af. Han evner som få at dekonstruere iazzens standarder med en næsten barnlig nysgerrighed og vildskab.
Sara Oschlag, som er født og opvokset i Danmark og gennem mange år bosiddende i Brighton, har etableret sig som en af Storbritanniens førende jazzsangere. Hun optræder jævnligt med Ronnie Scotts Jazz Orkester og udgav sidste år albummet YEAH", som rummer nogle af hendes originale tekster ("Mingus Fingers" og "Summer In Central Park") såvel som hendes danske herkomst med nummeret "Noget Om Helte"

Experience Denmark's great improvisation artist Carsten Dahl on piano with his fantastic trio together with the super swinging British-based Danish vocalist Sara Oschlag in Montmartre on June 12th & 13th at 8pm.
Pianist Carsten Dahl's musical background is deeply rooted in raw American jazz, but the artist's knowledge of the greatest classical composers is also unmistakable. He is able like few to deconstruct jazz standards with an almost childlike curiosity and wildness.
Sara Oschlag, who was born and raised in Denmark and has lived in Brighton for many years, has established herself as one of Britain's leading jazz singers. She performs regularly with Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra and last year released the album "YEAH", which contains some of her original lyrics ("Mingus Fingers" and "Summer In Central Park") as well as her Danish heritage with the song "Noget Om Helte"
